It's been over a week since I've blogged. We went to Nashville last week, which I still need to recap. I came back to work Monday to a mound of work. I am finally feeling like I'm able to breathe. TGIF!!
ONE
We have family pictures next week. I've started pulling together options. This is what I have so far. I'm not quite sure this is the direction I want to go. Why do family picture outfits have to be so stressful??? I'm sure a majority of this weekend will be spent trying to find something for the boys.
TWO
Speaking of pictures, anyone remember Glamour Shots? I think I was around 12 when I did Glamour Shots, and I'm sure I had more makeup on than any 12 year old should have. My grandma passed away a few months ago. My mom has been cleaning out her house. Bryson found this Glamour Shot picture of me at my grandma's house. He asked my mom if he could have it. He set it on his desk in his bedroom. How sweet!!!
THREE
Hallie stayed the night with Nana and Papa on Sunday night. Papa had some cows to sell and took Hallie to the sale with him. He fixed Hallie's hair and sent me a picture. He was so proud of his braid. I didn't have the heart to tell him she looked like a hobo. I'll give him an A for effort. He's such a good Papa!!
FOUR
Hallie wore her first Halloween outfit this week. She loves her $1 Target cat ears.
FIVE
How fun are these Halloween Cheetos?!?! I'm saving them for a Halloween themed dinner that I will surprise the kids with soon. I'm thinking Halloween dinner followed by my favorite Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus.
BONUS
During our travel time last week, I finally read Gone Girl. The hubby and I have a tentative date night this weekend to see the movie. I don't get to read much, but I sure do enjoy it when I do.
I just died at the Glamour Shot on Bryson's desk. That is adorable.
ReplyDeleteDid you like Gone Girl? I wasn't a fan of the book, but have heard such good things about the movie, plus my husband actually does want to see it, so I think that will be our next date night!
I think that buying outfits for family pictures might cost more and be more of a hassle than the actual pictures are. We are going through the same thing... it sucks.
ohhh i loved that book! i cant wait to see the movie. xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteWe are going this weekend to see Gone Girl too, I've heard it was really good and did not stray far from how the book was written either which is always good!! Good luck with the family pictures, I've always wanted to get some done but trying to figure out outfits seems like such a hassle :(
ReplyDeletethe glamour shot is awesome!! LOL And I love Nashville!!! Can't wait to read your recap!! Did you eat some fried pickles?!? Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have quite a portfolio of glamour shots and all of mine have the same sullen faux-smile. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so cute in her cat ears! Looks like you've got a good start on your pictures. I'm trying to decide what we'll wear and keep bouncing back and forth between two different color schemes.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, glamour shots!!! lol, I remember being sooo upset when my mom wouldn't let me get them!! Too funny :) :)
ReplyDeleteWe have our family pictures next week too...sooo stressful! Can't wait to see what you decide!
